Status Flag
To mark the reopening of the pavilion, an interactive flag was created to explore the idea of collective belonging. Serving both as a spatial accent within the renewed architecture and as a symbol of institutional transformation, it embodies a multifaceted identity with physical, digital, and social dimensions. Titled Статус (“Status”), the work reflects on how personal and collective identities evolve in the age of social media and remote connection, continuously growing and transforming through audience interaction during the 2021 Architecture Biennale.

Status is a collective flag shaped by everyone’s participation. Through an online platform, visitors choose colors that merge into a continuous, evolving gradient — a visual record of dialogue and mutual influence. Each day begins with a new line, forming a living, multicolored fabric that was printed and displayed at the end of the Biennale as a symbol of shared creation.
